Il suo nome non è una scelta casuale. In questa suite si rianima lo splendore dei Grand Hotel del 1910, permettendovi di viverlo in prima persona. Quest'anno, vi invitiamo a immergervi nel passato e a riscoprire uno stile di vita più rilassato. Ogni arred all'interno di questa suite è un autentico pezzo d'epoca del 1910, mentre l'arte che vi circonda abbraccia tutte le decadi: viaggiando dal '900 al nuovo millennio.
Il quadro raffigurante il cervello è infatti l’opera “Green Brain 2021 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (MRI)” dell’artista Christian Fogarolli (Trento, 1983*) creata nel 2021. Sulle pareti potrete inoltre scoprire opere realizzate nel 1900 dagli artisti Maria Delago (1902 - 1979) e Robert Zinner (1904-1988) che hanno trovato la loro ispirazione nei paesaggi dell’Alto Adige. Un fatto curioso? Robert Zinner ha avuto uno studio nel giardino dell'Hotel Greif mentre scriveva il libro "Alto Adige: paesaggi, arte e cultura." Lo studio si trova appena fuori dalla suite, ed era nella stanza più piccola della Glashaus.
L'arte non è confinata solamente alle pareti, ma si estende anche ai tappeti, autentiche opere d'arte realizzate con sfumature di colore appositamente studiate per la Suite Laurin 1910. Questi tappeti sono il risultato della straordinaria maestria artistica dei tessitori nepalesi e delle tradizionali tecniche di creazione. Le fibre utilizzate provengono dalla lana di pecora tibetana, rinomata per la sua straordinaria robustezza sviluppata grazie all'adattamento dell'animale al rigido clima tibetano. Inoltre, vengono impiegate fibre di ortica nepalese, raccolte e lavorate completamente a mano, considerate tra le più pure al mondo, tanto da essere utilizzate anche dagli sciamani.
In breve, l'arte e la storia permeano ogni angolo di questa suite, rendendo ogni momento un autentico viaggio nel tempo.
